Another week of hard work for the GenFest 2018 that will be held in July in Manila. The jury, chaired by Marcy, is evaluating the many young people who were on the stage of the Philippine cast: the selections of songs from all over the world are work in progress.
On next January the choreographers will create dances in different styles (hip hop, jazz, modern-contemporary, ethnic) along with the selected guys who will be included in the dancers group. On February the choreography tests will start to evaluate the opening and closing of the Genfest; in the meanwhile the Genfest band and choir will continue to work. “We are working strongly but the mood is joyful and harmonious because we know to work for a single purpose: a new World beyond any barrier“, Marcy said.
Marcy was forced to postpone his Italian tour to Fall 2018 because the commitments related to the GenFest.
Un’altra settimana di duro lavoro in vista del GenFest 2018 che si terrà a luglio a Manila. La giuria presieduta da Marcy sta valutando i tanti giovani che si sono alternati sul palco del Philippine cast: sono in corso le selezioni delle canzoni pervenute da tutto il mondo.
Nel prossimo gennaio i coreografi creeranno le danze in stili diversi (hip hop, jazz, moderno-contemporaneo, etnico) assieme a quelli selezionati per far parte del gruppo danzatori. A febbraio partiranno le prove di coreografie per l’apertura e la chiusura del Genfest mentre proseguiranno le prove del Genfest Band e coro. “Si lavora in modo molto intenso e professionale – spiega Marcy – ma il clima è gioioso e armonico perché c’è l’entusiasmo di chi è convinto di lavorare per un unico scopo: un mondo nuovo e unito al di là di ogni barriera”.
Marcy è stato costretto a rinviare all’autunno 2018 il suo tour in Italia proprio per gli impegni connessi all’organizzazione del GenFest.
