The 29th edition of Torrita Blues Festival is going to start on June 29th. The festival will be held in Torrita di Siena, small town in Tuscany, that was the location of European Blues Challenge 2016.
Italian and international artists will perform in piazza Matteotti from June 29th to July 1st. Guest stars will be Larry Garner & Michael Van Merwyk, Doyle Bramhall II (picture on the right) and Relic Blues Band. The first event on Thursday 29th has been organized with “Ristorante Roma” in Amatrice, one of the townships most affected by earthquakes of last year. A dinner will be held to raise funds for populations of Central Italy.
Prenderà il via il 29 giugno la 29° edizione del Torrita Blues Festival. La kermesse si svolgerà a Torrita di Siena, piccolo centro nel cuore della Toscana che nel 2016 fu la location dell’European Blues Challenge.
Per tre giorni, dal 29 giugno fino a sabato 1° luglio, artisti italiani ed internationali si esibiranno in piazza Matteotti. Ospiti d’onore saranno Larry Garner & Michael Van Merwyk, Doyle Bramhall II e Relic Blues Band. Il primo evento di giovedì 29 è stato organizzato in collaborazione con il “Ristorante Roma” di Amatrice, uno dei paesi più colpiti dallo sciame sismico dello scorso anno. E’ stata quindi organizzata una cena per raccogliere fondi da destinare alle popolazioni del Centro Italia.
