Parma will be the headquarter the “Accademia Verdiana“, an higher education project promoted by Fondazione Teatro Regio in Parma. The goal is to preserve and develope the talent of new generations combining the tradition of melodrama with new linguistic transformations.
The first course will cover the Verdi’s repertoire. The competion is open to the opera singers living in Italy aged between 18 and 35. Lessons will be held in Teatro Regio next fall. The selection of candidates is scheduled for the first week of July. The submission deadline is June 5th.
Sarà Parma ad ospitare l’Accademia Verdiana, un progetto di alta formazione istituita dalla Fondazione Teatro Regio di Parma. L’obiettivo è preservare e sviluppare il talento delle nuove generazioni coniugando la tradizione del melodramma con le nuove trasformazioni linguistiche.
Il primo corso verterà sul repertorio di Verdi. Il concorso è rivolto ai cantanti lirici residenti in Italia di età compresa tra i 18 e il 35 anni. Le lezioni si terranno nel prossimo autunno. Nella prima settimana di luglio verranno effettuate le selezioni dei candidati. Il termine per la presentazione delle domande è fissato per il 5 giugno.
