It was approved the financial recovery project of “Fondazione Petruzzelli” that runs the great theater of Bari, the fourth largest in Italy. The Foundation, chaired by Mr Antonio Decaro, has signed thirty-year loan of € 4 millions.
The theater was destoyed by arson in 1991 and it reopened in 2009. “It’s a great step to start the artistic revival of Petruzzelli – President Decaro said – The support of all parties involved, including the labor unions, has been crucial”.
E’ stato approvato il piano di risanamento finanziario della “Fondazione Petruzzelli” che gestisce il grande teatro di Bari, il quarto d’Italia. La Fondazione, presieduta da Antonio Decaro, ha sottoscritto un mutuo trentennale di 4 milioni di euro.
Il teatro fu distrutto da un incendio doloso nel 1991 ed ha riaperto solo nel 2009. “E’ un grande passo per avviare il rilancio artistico del Petruzzelli – ha commentato il presidente Decaro – E’ stato fondamentale il sostegno di tutte le parti coinvolte, anche delle sigle sindacali”.
