The “Nabucco” by Giuseppe Verdi will open the 95° edition of “Opera Festival 2017” at Arena di Verona. The Verdian drama, based on the libretto written by Temistocle Solera, will be on show for 12 evenings until August 26th. The new layout has been made by Arnaud Bernard and Alessandro Camera.
The orchestra will be directed by Maestro Daniel Oren who guided soloists, orchestra and choirs at Arena since 1984 for 45 operas and 28 events; three times the orchestra will be directed by Maestro Jordi Bernàcer, a novice for Arena di Verona.
The first show is scheduled on Friday 23rd June at 9 pm.
Sarà il Nabucco di Giuseppe Verdi ad inaugurare la 95° edizione dell’Opera Festival 2017 all’Arena di Verona. Il dramma verdiano, composto sul libretto di Temistocle Solera, verrà proposto per 12 serate fino al 26 agosto in un nuovo allestimento che porta la firma di Arnaud Bernard per regia e costumi e di Alessandro Camera per le scene.
Alla direzione d’orchestra il maestro Daniel Oren che dal 1984 ha guidato solisti, orchestra e coro areniani in 45 titoli lirici per 28 Festival; per tre rappresentazioni salirà sul podio Jordi Bernàcer, direttore al suo debutto all’Arena di Verona.
Il primo spettacolo è previsto per venerdì 23 giugno alle ore 21.
