Sinfonica Rai of Torino will be the main orchestra of the Rossini Opera Festival for three years. Gianfranco Mariotti, director of the Festival, and Paola Carruba, administrative director of Sinfonica Rai signed the agreement until 2019.
The orchestra will be on stage starting August 10th when “Le Siège de Corinthe” by Roberto Abbado will open the Festival.
È l’Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai la nuova orchestra principale del Rossini Opera Festival. L’accordo fino al 2019 è stato sottoscritto dai sovrintendenti dell’Osn Paola Carruba e del Rof Gianfranco Mariotti. L’Orchestra sarà impegnata già dal 10 agosto quando Le siège de Corinthe, diretta da Roberto Abbado, aprirà il festival.
