Born 1967 in Rome, he has degrees in Clarinet with Ugo Gennarini, Instrumentation for Band with Fulvio Creux and Composition with Luciano Pelosi. Moreover he enrolled at Istituto Musicale Pescarese where he attended the Music Direction Course with Maestro Creux and Jo Conjaerts.
On 2014 Tilia obtained the Second level degree in Composition.
He is clarinettist in the “Guardia di Finanza” musical band since 1988.
