The renowned pianist and composer Andrea Padova, awarded as the best Italian pianist by the Insound magazine, signed with the record label and publishing house BAM Music based in Geneva (Switzerland) for the publication and distribution of his new album entitled: Preludes & Interludes.

This album initially starts from the Klavierbüchlein‘s Little Preludes by Johann Sebastian Bach, followed by some compositions by maestro Padova, these have an important link with the Bachian preludes: “a progression of combinations based on pairs of united pieces, belonging to the same tone, while the general design of the cycle recalls the Two- and Three-part Inventions” explains himself.

Padova is considered one of the most innovative interpreters of Bach’s works, drawing the attention of critics after winning the “J.S.Bach Internationaler Klavierwettbewerb” in 1995.
